Last February, Drake revealed that he was “the first Canadian signed to [Boy Better Know].” The news was spread via an Instagram post that followed his appearance at a Section Boyz show in London. Today, BBK honcho, Skepta, has confirmed that Drake was signed to his label in a conversation with London’s Time Out Magazine.

“We’re putting together an official worldwide BBK label. But we haven’t talked about how it’ll work yet. It’ll be separate to his existing contracts. Trust me, I am not gonna sue Lil Wayne.”

Skepta released his highly-anticipated album, Konichiwa, last Friday. Listen to it here.
