The Nike Free Mercurial Superfly Meets the Zoom Spiridon
The uber-limited release is hitting a single spot next month.

UEFA Euro 2016 gets underway June 10 when France takes on Romania in the tournament’s opening game and, to celebrate, Nike is opening a special Palais of Speed in Paris — transforming the French capital’s Palais de Tokyo in the process. Billed as a celebration of “football, speed and innovation,” the Palais of Speed will host, among other things, a bevy of limited edition Nike F.C. product while it’s open — the highlight of which may be the Zoom Mercurial Flyknit. Based on the Free Mercurial Superfly and sporting a slightly modified upper with different Flyknit construction than the original, the unique hybrid comes built atop the sole unit of 1997’s Zoom Spiridon — a cult classic runner that the Swoosh is finally resurrecting this summer.
Good luck if you want to get your hands on these, though. According to SNEAKERS ADDICT, the kicks will be limited to just nine pairs and will hit the Palais of Speed on the final day it’s open — complete with exclusive packaging designed by Parisian artist Ugo Gattoni.
The Palais of Speed will be open from June 4 through June 18.
