The Nike Mayfly Returns in Premium Suede
NSW drops a premium rendition of its old 100km runner.
Originally an inexpensive runner intended for a 100km lifespan, Nike’s Mayfly — a nod to an insect with a lifecycle of less than 24 hours — was a major hit back in 2013 thanks to premium updates and brand new woven renditions of the silhouette. Now, after returning earlier this year with the likes of rereleases, “Triple White,” and “Triple Black” drops, the Mayfly is making a late 2016 return in the form of the Mayfly Premium Leather. Decked out in the premium suede of the aforementioned “Triple Black” drop, these ditch the woven construction in favor of the runner’s original graphic decoration and couple the look with a stark white sole unit. Waxed cotton laces are also present while a premium tan leather heel tab has been included as a luxurious contrast to the otherwise black and white look.
