Kobe Bryant Writes, Directs & Narrates "Guarding the Greats" for ESPN
Bean analyzes LeBron’s game to help future defenders.
Although he retired from the game last season, Kobe Bryant continues to put his unmatched prowess for the game to use. It was announced just a few days ago that Kobe would team up with ESPN to create the Canvas — a six-part documentary series written, directed and narrated by Kobe that will dive into varying topics surrounding the NBA. The first video piece, “Guarding the Greats,” aired just before the Christmas Day game between the Cavs and Warriors. Here, Bean points his focus onton LeBron James and how a defender can slow him down, as stopping him may be out of the question. Watch the near six-minute piece above to learn about Bron’s “habits, rhythms and routines” from a legend.
The remaining five episodes will air at different points during the current NBA season, so be sure to stay tuned.
