Gucci's 2017 Pre-Fall Collection Is Chock-Full of Embroidery and Embellishments
Set against an 18th century tavern.

Hot on the heels of its modern Roman Renaissance-inspired collection for the warmer seasons is Gucci’s graphic-heavy assemblage for 2017 pre-fall. Creative director Alessandro Michele continues to follow the overly-eccentric route when it comes to design cues—showcasing a range of pieces swathed in striking embroidery and other high fashion embellishments. You’ll need more than a double take to catch all of the intricate details in the collection as it features over 80 garments. Some standout items in the cold season offering include souvenir cardigans, blazers adorned with traditional Japanese motifs and tracksuits that boast three-dimensional, abstract visuals.
