adidas Skateboarding Unveils the Samba-Inspired Busenitz Vulc RX
Busenitz gets yet another signature silhouette.
2016 marked the ten-year anniversary of adidas’s partnership with Dennis Busenitz and the Three Stripes celebrated the milestone in style, dropping a special Up To Speed documentary along with a trio of commemorative sneakers — not to mention a highly limited “Friends & Family” rendition of the Busenitz Pro. Now Busenitz and adi are kicking off 2017 with a bang, introducing a brand new addition to the Busenitz lineup.
Dubbed the Busenitz Vulc RX, the new adidas Skateboarding release updates the original Busenitz Vulc with nods to the iconic Samba. The result is yet another soccer homage from adidas’s skate-centric imprint (the Busenitz Pro, for example, is inspired by the likes of the Copa Mundial) and one that employs the Samba’s classic white colorway and T-shaped pig suede toe along with leather construction, a molded external heel counter, a GEOFIT collar, a molded EVA sockliner and a vulcanized rubber outsole.
The Busenitz Vulc RX launches January 1, 2017 at select adidas Skateboarding retailers and adidas.com for $85 USD.
