Nike Basketball Officially Reveals the Kyrie 3
Expecting more crossovers from Uncle Drew.
After Finish Line provided a preview of what to expect from the Kyrie Irving’s upcoming signature shoe, the Swoosh has finally unveiled Uncle Drew’s next signature silhouette in the Kyrie 3. Its inaugural colorway is dubbed “Black Ice” and features precise detailing tailored for Irving’s entertaining quickness and elite handle on the hardwood. On its outsole you’ll find individual traction pods for enhanced grip on court while increasing the ability to stop on a dime. Throughout the upcoming silhouette you’ll also find special nods to Irving’s family and upbringing via roman numerals on its insoles representing his late mother’s birthday and the names Azurie and Elizabeth representing his daughter and mother, respectively. You’ll also find the acronyms JBY and H+H which represent Kyrie’s personal mottos of “Just Be You” as well as “Hungry and Humble.”
Uncle Drew fans can expect the Nike Kyrie 3 “Black Ice” to launch on December 26 for $120 USD at select Nike retailers in addition to nike.com.
