Converse Celebrates 40 Years of the Pro Leather With New Vintage Suede Pack
“Sport classic” colorways come to suede versions of the iconic high-top.
Converse has already celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Pro Leather in a big way this year, linking up with the likes of UNITED ARROWS & SONS, NEXUSVII, and nonnative for collaborative takes on the silhouette before dropping monochromatic black and white renditions of its own. Now Converse is back with its second in-house 40th anniversary drop, tapping “sport classic” hues for a vintage suede four-pack. As the name suggests, each pair comes done up in retro-inspired suede, but couples the old school look with a contemporary edge thanks to the use of Nike’s Lunarlon cushioning for the drop-in sock liner.
Finished with white accents throughout, the four vintage suede takes on the Pro Leather ‘76 will hit Converse spots and converse.com come Monday, November 21 for $80 USD per pair.
