nonnative Officially Unveils Its 2016 Fall/Winter Converse Pro Leathers
nonnative celebrates a piece of basketball history.

This fall, Japanese stalwart nonnative is celebrating a piece of basketball history, putting its stamp on the hardwood’s tried-and-true Converse Pro Leather. Initially teased earlier this summer, the release celebrates the 40th anniversary of the old school high-top while putting nonnative distinct spin on the shoe’s classic look. Not only has its usual leather construction been swapped out in favor of a long-grain hairy suede, but a military boot-inspired zippered front tongue has been added alongside an elasticized panel, thus making the kicks easier to wear than ever. Last but not least, the sole has been given a vintage off-white finish for a bit of a nostalgic aesthetic.
A trio of colorways are available now exclusively at vendor, White Atelier BY CONVERSE, ISETAN and COVERCHORD.
