HUF TOKYO Opening Its Doors Next Month
The skatewear label is planting its roots in the Japanese capital.

Launched in 2002 by skateboarder Keith Hufnagel, HUF has quickly become a perennial skate and streetwear brand. Now, the label is extending its reach to East Asia with a flagship store in Tokyo, Japan. The interior design of this new space is reminiscent of the plywood layers found in skateboards, resulting in a natural design manifesting itself in the furniture as well. Vintage Los Angeles artwork and flags hark images of the brand’s origin, offering Japanese visitors a taste of all things Californian. To commemorate the opening, there will be limited edition T-shirts and memorabilia available. The location will open its doors August 1 in the Shibuya area, and a special gift is available to all patrons who purchase over 15,000 JPY (approximately $120 USD).
