OAMC launched its 2015 spring/summer range of sunglasses which feature a unique material of lightweight, custom Takiron cellulose-based acetate that’s cut on a pre-curved plate for the glasses’ non-bending structures. To showcase the strong frames, OAMC took to a resistance test by throwing various objects at them, dropped at a minimum of 1.8m high; among the items are a watermelon, a knife, a wrench, a lightbulb, large marbles, skateboard wheels, glass, and a raw steak.
This isn’t to say the sunglasses are completely indestructible, but are most definitely a lot more durable than your average pair. The OAMC 2015 spring/summer sunglasses also feature a custom titanium weave-patterned floating core wire and CR-39 lenses coated with anti-UV flash. Head over to OAMC.com for more information.
