XCAR takes a drive in the historic Morgan Plus 8 Speedster, showcasing the carmaker’s updated take on the vintage ’40s-inspired exterior styling. Boasting a BMW-sourced 4.8-liter V8 engine, the car is capable of producing 367 horsepower, launching the vehicle to a top speed of 150 mph. Extremely limited at only 60 models produced worldwide, the Morgan Plus 8 Speedster captures the classic aesthetic of the vintage era of high-performance driving as an aluminum-bonded chassis and six-speed manual highlight the modern packaging underneath the retro design.
