With today marking the official release of the Air Jordan XX9, we present our exclusive recap of Nike‘s special Flight Club exhibition at Shanghai retailer X158. Aside from showcasing the state-of-the-art technology behind Jordan Brand’s latest flagship model through deconstruction and creative light installations, this exhibit also housed a number of supplementing retrospective displays. With dated MJ ads lining the walls, we walked through a hallway of retro Jordans, from 1 to 28, all in a white and red colorway with a brief blurb about its key feature or inspiration. To top off this special event, Nike invited a handful of collectors to share their own coveted AJ sneakers and personal stories about the iconic brand.
