After the blockbuster announcement made back in July, here audiences are finally treated to Alexander Wang‘s inaugural collection for Swedish clothing giant H&M. The landmark collection stays true to Wang’s established sportswear aesthetic, drawing from boxing motifs while also throwing in neoprene, tech jersey and leather blocking – all running themes in contemporary fashion. Large “WANG” prints permeate eyewear, sweatshirts and shorts (sometimes provocatively), tinging the collection with a kind of underground streetwear sensibility.
