Christopher Raeburn

Christopher Raeburn is the eponymous label of British fashion designer, Christopher Raeburn, who launched in 2008. Previously the artistic director of Victorinox, Raeburn based his label around ethically sourced fabrics, notable for his use of re-appropriated military cloths. The reappropriation ethos was developed when Raeburn was studying at the Royal College of Art, and still influences his collections to this day. In 2008, the label was featured in Hywei Davies’ publication of 100 New Fashion Designers. In 2009, the brand showed at Paris Fashion week with Tim Soar, and won the International Ethical Fashion Forum’s Innovation Competition and secured a spot at London Fashion Week. Christopher Raeburn also won the emerging fashion designer industry in the “100” competition.
