Christopher Raeburn Delivers Patchwork Timberland Collab for Fall 2019
The brand’s Global Creative Director delivers a sustainable array of seasonal layers.

Approximately one year ago, Timberland elected Christopher Raeburn to take on the mantle of Global Creative Director. As Raeburn prepares to launch his first mainline collection for the heritage brand (Fall 2020), the British designer has crafted a sustainably-minded capsule in time for this year’s transitional season.
An array of adventure-ready silhouettes feature co-branded prints and rubber badges, streetwear-friendly touches that carry over to the color-blocked patchwork detailing seen throughout. Timberland’s signature orange appears as a panel on a puffer jacket, long-sleeved shirt and piecemeal hoodie, the latter of which sports inverted fleece panels for extra texture. 50/50 graphic tees serve as relatively understated base layers upon which the more outré make for ideal statement pieces, while the winterized Brooklyn sneaker sports mashed-up panels on the uppers and stark orange laces.

Timberland isn’t the only function-driven label embodying sustainability this season, however; Woolrich recently introduced a conscious collection of seasonal layering pieces.
