Vince Staples, RZA Will Star in Anime Film 'MFKZ'
The movie was originally released last year as a French animated film titled ‘Mutafukaz.’
Vince Staples and RZA will voice characters for an upcoming English-dubbed anime film titled MFKZ, which drops this October through GKIDS. The film was originally released last year through France’s Ankama Animations and Japan’s Studio 4°C as a French animated movie titled Mutafukaz. It was directed by French comic artist Guillaume “Run” Renard and Shōjirō Nishimi, who is also the lead animator.
MFKZ follows the lives of Angelino and Vinz in a dystopian L.A.-inspired metropolis as they discover superpowers and fight crime. The new movie stars Kenn Michael as Angelino and Staples as Vinz. MFKZ also features voice acting from Dascha Polanco, and Danny Trejo, among others. MFKZ is playing in North American theaters on Oct. 11 and Oct. 16. Tickets are available now.
