The Hypebeast Twenty T-Shirt Exhibition Lands in Hong Kong
Hypebeast celebrates two decades with a curated T-shirt exhibition featuring world-renowned artists at BELOWGROUND.
Hypebeast continues to celebrate its 20th anniversary, returning to its roots in Hong Kong and bringing its 20-year capsule T-shirt exhibition to Hong Kong.
Taking place at BELOWGROUND in Landmark until February 22, the curated exhibit centers on the T-shirt as the ultimate democratic medium for self-expression and a vital canvas for pop culture history. Visitors can view the entire collection on display right by the newly-opened Hypebeans and Gallery HBX, which includes collaborations with longtime friends ACRONYM, AMBUSH, Anti Social Social Club, BAPE, Brain Dead, fragment, Futura Laboratories, Hajime Sorayama, HUF, KAWS x HUMAN MADE, NEIGHBORHOOD, PATTA, PEACEMINUSONE, POST ARCHIVE FACTION (PAF), Proleta Re Art, Supreme, UNDERCOVER, Takashi Murakami, Virgil Abloh Archive, and VERDY.
To elevate the experience, the space also features a specialized spatial dialogue created by local artist Orange Terry, blending contemporary art with streetwear heritage. By reconnecting with the local community, Hypebeast uses this installation to celebrate identity and the enduring power of fashion as a cultural marker. This exhibition serves as both a retrospective and a forward-looking statement on the evolving landscape of style
