Awake NY and UNION are joining forces once again with a capsule collection inspired by the upcoming Awake NY x Nike Air Jordan 5. The UNION Tee & Cap will release on August 29, 2025, serving as the centerpiece of a weekend of celebrations. Adding to the excitement, Awake NY founder Angelo Baque will make a special appearance at UNION Tokyo on the same day, greeting fans from 12:00 to 16:00 ahead of the official launch.
On August 30, UNION TOKYO will host the “AWAKE NY Borough Capsule Collection Launch Party,” featuring the release of the collaboration pieces, a raffle for exclusive gifts, music from a UNION community DJ and food and drinks courtesy of Pizzeria Carlinos. Blending fashion, community and culture, the event underscores the shared spirit of Awake NY and UNION in connecting global streetwear hubs like New York and Tokyo.
