The Moncler x Mercedes-Benz x Nigo Collection Rolls Out Alongside Limited Edition G-Class Model

Originally debuted during Moncler‘s star-studded Moncler Genius 2024 showcase in Shanghai, the French-born luxury skiwear brand has finally released its collaborative collection powered by Nigo and German auto-brand Mercedes-Benz. Comprising a cobranded apparel line and a limited edition G-Class “Past II Future” car, the collection blends the brand heritage of each collaborator to represent a melting pot of cultural inspirations.

Rooted in Nigo’s affinity for the vintage Americana aesthetic, the apparel collection includes a variety of classic silhouettes, including varsity jackets, bomber jackets, flannel over-shirts, and a denim set. The Japanese designer has opted to center the imagery on a retro green G-Class photograph from the Mercedes-Benz archive and a handwritten lowercase Moncler word mark.

Standing out is a navy Ivy-esque cotton cardigan featuring a synthetic liner back panel adorned with a large embroidered appliqué. On a shirt jacket, a satin shirt and a knitted sweater, archival Mercedes-Benz photos are printed all over the backside with the new Moncler wordmark. More discreet styles focus on solid fabrics with more subtle word marks, including a workwear-inspired jacket and jeans set, and the down-filled field jacket.

The accompanying vehicle iterates on 90s-era design elements with modern updates, including a checked flannel seat upholstery and a removable quilted roof, reflecting Moncler’s heritage in outerwear. Golden details accent the unconventional two-tone exterior, which centers on a forest green shell.
