Singer’s First Classic Turbo 911 Heads to Auction in Miami via Bonhams Cars

Bonhams Cars is set to auction the Sun Valley Commission, a 1990 Porsche 911 Reimagined by Singer and the very first example from Singer’s new Classic Turbo restoration services to be offered for public sale.
This milestone vehicle marks Singer’s turbocharged debut — built around the air-cooled 964 chassis and inspired by the iconic 930 Turbo. Under the hood lies a 3.8L twin-turbocharged Mezger flat-six engine delivering 510 hp to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual transaxle. The car boasts adjustable sport suspension, carbon ceramic Brembo brakes and modern driver aids like ABS and traction control, blending old-school thrills with contemporary precision.
The Sun Valley Commission is finished in a one-off Dirty Oak Green Metallic paint, applied to lightweight carbon fiber panels crafted in the UK. Inside, the cabin stuns with ivory leather, woven olive accents, and green carpeting — paying homage to the original 930 while reinterpreting it for today. This specific build also comes with a matching Singer Reimagined Flytrack watch, individually numbered and noted on the original build sheet.
Previously tested by motoring journalist Chris Harris in a 40-minute film, the Sun Valley Commission has clocked just 267 miles since its restoration. It’s a rare chance to acquire a cutting-edge expression of Singer’s artistry without waiting in line and a testament to the brand’s ethos of “Everything is important.”
The Sun Valley Commission is estimated to fetch as much as $2,250,000 USD — with bidding set to kick off on May 3, ahead of the F1 Miami Grand Prix, as part of Bonhams Cars’ The Miami Auction.
