It seems like just yesterday that sock boots dominated the runways (it was less than a decade ago), but like all trends, time comes back around. Now, the Gucci Slip-On Sneaker is here. Unlike its predecessors, this slipper-like sneaker is a low-profile iteration of the relaxed footwear trend. The ballet flat silhouette forms a comfortable third option for those looking for something in between Bottega Veneta’s woven socks, Balenciaga’s OG sock boots, and the newly trendy Vibram five fingers.

The style originally debuted on the SS25 runway and is part of the final collection designed by former creative director Sabato de Sarno. The shoe encapsulates the designer’s signature low-key commercial feel. Made from elastic fabric, the flexible silhouette allows for instant slip-on wearability and is available in green, light brown, and black. The sole also features a 3D interlocking GG webbed logo for a more subtle but textural touch. The slip-on sneaker also stands out against the brand’s other latest available, more athletically minded designs, including The Gucci 2.0 and the Cub3D.

The Gucci SS25 slip-on sneaker retails for $1,090 USD and is available now in stores and online at Gucci.
