LISA Delivers Dynamic Solo Debut Studio Album 'Alter Ego'
Featuring guest appearances from Future, Megan Thee Stallion and more.
LISA, along with her five different personas, have dropped off her debut solo album Alter Ego.
Clocking in at just a little over 40 minutes, the 15-track record features a heavy list of guest features including RAYE and Doja Cat on the opener “Born Again,” ROSALÍA on “New Woman,” Future on “FXCK UP THE WORLD,” Megan Thee Stallion on “Rapunzel” and Tyla on “When I’m With You.”
As the name suggests, Alter Ego is the result of the BLACKPINK staple’s sonic exploration, packaged into five different people that are reflective of the music that LISA wants to share with the world. She has all her bases covered with Roxi, the assertive “Rockstar” of the five; Sunni, the more avant-garde one; Kiki, the loud-haired Y2K persona; Speedi, a car enthusiast who loves to live life on the fast lane; and Vixi, the “Villain.” Through these five, LISA is able to showcase her versatility and separate herself from her work with the beloved K-pop girl group — truly painting her a solo star on the rise.
