Damian Lillard made his presence known at NBA All-Star Weekend this year. The nine-time All-Star not only hit a game winner for Shaq’s OGs — the eventual champion of the new All-Star Game format — but he teamed up with adidas to present his newest signature shoe: the adidas Dame X.
Lillard had previously introduced the Dame 9 at last year’s NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis and later debuted the silhouette in August of 2024 via another collaboration with BAPE. Now, he’s gone on to unveil the Dame X in its debut “Dame’s Light” colorway. Building off of the sleek shape of the Dame 9, this new model similarly sports strong linework across the upper, fitting into adidas Basketball’s ultramodern design language that it has leaned on in recent years. The toe section features a bright orange with a small Three Stripes logo hit in black. From there, the shoe leans on its “Lime Burst” hue across the wavy upper and court-ready sole unit. Blue arrives at both the lining and laces while black covers the branded tongue and collar, completing this initial preview of the silhouette.
Damian Lillard mentioned a release date of June 28 within the comment section of his reveal post on Instagram. Look out for this “Dame’s Light” colorway to arrive then via adidas and select retailers at a starting price of $90 USD.
