It was a momentous year for Salehe Bembury in 2025. The designer introduced his first signature basketball shoe, teaming up with Tyrese Haliburton and PUMA Hoops, while not only dropping plenty of additional collaborations too, but launching his own footwear brand, SPUNGE.
Looking ahead to next year, there seems to be plenty more partnership work to come, with an upcoming New Balance MADE in USA collaboration popping up this week. Bembury has worked with New Balance’s MiUSA line once before, putting his own spin on the 990v2. Now, he’s taken on the 992, covering it in shaggy suede. Per usual, he’s put together unique color blocking, offering everything from forest green and bright blue to gray and mossy green. Nods to the designer come courtesy of the lateral tag, cork sockliner, and the thematic packaging.
At the time of writing, neither Salehe Bembury nor New Balance have discussed their upcoming collaboration on the MADE in USA line’s 992 sneaker. Stay tuned for updates, including an official look at the sneaker, as we currently expect it to drop in early 2026 via New Balance and select retailers such as HBX at a starting price of $220 USD. In the meantime, Offspring currently has the pair set to drop on January 1 at a price of £220 GBP (approx. $297 USD).
