  • 200 Copas is a tribute to powerful latin women worldwide.

In the heart of San Miguel de Allende, Karol G and Casa Dragones came together to launch 200 Copas, a Cristalino tequila made exclusively for the Colombian superstar. The weekend doubled as Casa Dragones’ sixteenth anniversary and its epic Día de Muertos celebration — where contemporary culture meets centuries-old tradition.

The event opened with an intimate conversation between Karol G and Bertha González Nieves, Casa Dragones’ founder and the first woman to earn the title Maestra Tequilera. Moderated by Raul Tovar, their conversation traced the parallels between tequila-making and music — both requiring time, patience, and emotion to create something that withstands the test of time.

Later, Chef Daniela Soto-Innes of Rubra hosted a dinner that combined gastronomy and art, reimagining Día de Muertos through tropical Mexican flavors, while mirroring the tasting notes of 200 Copas: roasted agave, almond, and plum.

As night fell, Karol G surprised guests at Sala de Despecho, raising a glass of 200 Copas before performing “Milagros” and her namesake track. The performance felt like a celebration of craft, community, and cultural pride.

The night concluded at La Casa Dragones — the brand’s 17th-century spiritual home, where artists, designers, and creatives toasted to modern Mexican luxury. Signature cocktails from Eli Martínez and Fabiola Padilla reinterpreted 200 Copas through contemporary mixology, resulting in a perfect reflection of the brand’s commitment to heritage and innovation.

Made from pure blue Weber agave aged over twelve months in custom American oak barrels, 200 Copas embodies Casa Dragones’ approach to modern craftsmanship: sustainable, precise, and forward-thinking. More than a limited release, the collaboration with Karol G is a cultural statement led by two women redefining luxury and legacy in Mexico.

200 Copas por Casa Dragones is available in Mexico and the U.S. at select retailers.
