Summary

- The updated version features premium leather uppers, BOOST cushioning and small nods to the 20-year milestone
adidas is celebrating two decades of its flagship golf shoe by bringing back the original TOUR360, albeit with modern updates. First released in 2005, the TOUR360 helped define a new era of performance-driven golf footwear. The reissue preserves the early-2000s silhouette while integrating all the comfort and traction technology of the current generation.
What makes the return interesting isn’t just nostalgia. The TOUR360 arrived at a time when golf style was shifting toward a more technical, sport-forward look and adidas played a key role in shaping that identity. The original design language, classic in outline but futuristic in detail, feels especially relevant again today, and it echoes the Y2K “retro-futurist” aesthetic that’s resurfacing across sneakers and sportswear.
Under the hood, the new version carries premium leather uppers, BOOST and LIGHTSTRIKE cushioning, a 360WRAP for midfoot stability and adidas’ TORSION TUNNEL sole. Small nods to the 20-year milestone appear throughout, from an “est. 2005” stamp on the tongue to a gunmetal eyelet etched with the number 20. Each pair also arrives in special anniversary packaging.
The TOUR360 20-Year Edition releases today in limited quantities on adidas.com.
