Bad Bunny is ready to hit the links. After absolutely dominating the lifestyle sneaker market and making history on the Super Bowl stage, the Puerto Rican superstar is officially bringing his unique design language to the golf course. Recently surfaced images have revealed a brand-new, country-club-ready iteration of his signature adidas BadBo 1.0 silhouette. Blending classic, vintage golf aesthetics with modern streetwear energy, this unexpected crossover proves Benito’s collaborative vision with the Three Stripes knows absolutely no bounds.
First spotted as an unreleased sample by eager fans online, the Bad Bunny x adidas BadBo 1.0 Golf shoe takes the 1990s basketball-inspired upper of the original BadBo 1.0 and radically refines it for the fairway. The upper is constructed from premium white and black leather, heavily leaning into a classic, dress-shoe-reminiscent aesthetic. Elevated details like triangle-cut paneling, wing-tip style perforations, and a soft brown leather ankle collar give the sneaker a highly sophisticated, bespoke feel that fits perfectly within a traditional country club dress code.
Despite its premium, lifestyle-focused appearance, the bottom half of the shoe is completely retooled for elite performance on the course. A tan leather bumper is stitched cleanly around the top of the midsole, housing a specialized spikeless traction system. Segmented traction zones featuring studded lugs provide essential grip for the tee box, while a classic adidas Torsion bar bridges the midfoot to ensure crucial stability during a golf swing.
This unexpected pivot into the golf space follows an incredible year for the artist, who recently debuted the BadBo 1.0 during his record-breaking Super Bowl Halftime performance. While the BadBo Golf is currently just a sample—originally showcased among dozens of prototypes during a special exhibition in Puerto Rico—its highly refined construction suggests it is fully ready for a retail rollout.
