Update: After leaking late last week, Joe Freshgoods has offered a detailed preview of his return to the New Balance 992 in celebration of his five-year anniversary with New Balance. As described in our initial breakdown below, the shoe toggles between pink and orange while offering hints of brown as well. Release details have not yet been shared so stay tuned for updates as we expect it to arrive in the months to come via New Balance and select retailers.

Original Story: Joe Freshgoods is back at Paris Fashion Week with New Balance and it looks like the partners have another hit sneaker on the way with their newly-unveiled 992 “Aged Well” colorway. While New Balance hasn’t highlighted the 992 much in recent seasons, it looks like it may be back in a big way this year.

The pair initially leaked via an eBay listing and has since been teased officially by Freshgoods via a promotional image on his Instagram story. Based on the two previews, there’s plenty of info that has been shared. The upper blends rust orange, dusty pink, sand brown and taupe across its mixed material build. Typical callouts to New Balance are present at the midfoot, tongue and heel while “JFG” notes are included at both the tongue and heel. A thematic shoe box has also been spotted in pink with co-branding included on multiple sides.

At the time of writing, neither Joe Freshgoods nor New Balance have indicated when their “Aged Well” version of the 992 is dropping. Stay tuned for updates, including the shoe’s official unveiling, as it is currently expected to drop in the months to come via New Balance and select retailers.
