Bode and Nike Preview Astrograbber in Green and All-Black

Following earlier black and white variants, the collaborators added a burst of color and a super stealth option to mix.

During Bode‘s recent FW25 runway event in New Orleans last weekend, new variants from the designer’s collaborative project with Nike surfaced with the help of special ambassadors.

Outside the venue, guest models like Bengals player Ja’Marr Chase were spotted in the new shoes, along with several other models walking down the runway. Chase wore a new bright green leather model with black soles and details throughout. Small moments of green suede soften the palette while on the tongue, Bode’s delicate wordmark replaces the original Nike logo. The collection also showcased a new mesh variant updated with black-on-black leather trims and details for a more subtle option.

Though Bode and Nike reintroduced the silhouette from dormancy in 2023, the original Astrogabber was designed by Nike founder Phil Knight in 1974 as a football sneaker. However, Bode injected the model with a contemporary appeal by tacking on the sole from Nike’s Waffle Trainer.

As of the time of writing an official release date has not been revealed by Bode or Nike, but the shoes are slated for a Spring 2025 drop. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for updates on the Bode x Nike Astrograbber release date.
