BAPE Year of the Snake Capsule

BAPE kicks off 2025 with its Lunar New Year “Year of the Snake” capsule, symbolizing regrowth and rebirth through bold designs inspired by the mythical Yamata-no-Orochi. Part of the ongoing “A RISING BAPE” collection, the range features jacketing, T-shirts, long sleeves, denim, mesh caps and hoodies adorned with snakeskin-inspired graphics and foil-printed patterns. The signature APE HEAD insignia gets a fresh twist, now encircled by a snake, reflecting the transformative energy of the snake shedding its skin. Available now, the collection marks a powerful and symbolic new chapter for the iconic streetwear brand.

L.L. Bean JAPAN EDITION Outerwear Capsule

L.L. Bean introduces its latest JAPAN EDITION outerwear capsule, blending retro outdoor aesthetics with Japanese streetwear sensibilities. Designed specifically for the Japanese market, the collection features three standout pieces: the Windy Ridge Jacket, inspired by a 1990s lightweight silhouette with large waist pockets and clean colorways; the Field Coat, a traditional work jacket with corduroy details, golden hardware and unique double-paneled pockets; and the Roxbury Vest, a versatile layering piece with duo-toned color schemes and an adjustable bungee waistband. Available now at United Arrows and select retailers in Japan, the capsule reflects a refined fusion of heritage and contemporary style.

Stone Island “Year of the Snake ‘025” Collection

Stone Island marks the Year of the Snake with its “Year of the Snake ‘025” collection, blending versatility and serpentine symbolism into its signature technical aesthetic. Inspired by the snake’s association with renewal, transformation and wisdom, the lineup features jackets, pants, vests, hoodies, crewnecks, shorts, caps and a messenger bag, all offered in silver or black with striking red stitching and embroidered details. Outerwear pieces are crafted from Stone Island’s signature nylon metal with a garment-dyed finish, while modular elements, like detachable jacket sleeves, add adaptability. Packaged in festive red bags with silver logos, the collection is now available in Stone Island’s APAC stores and online, with a global release expected soon.

BEAMS PLUS x Engineered Garments “PEG Ranger Uniform”

BEAMS PLUS and Engineered Garments celebrate 25 years of collaboration with the “PEG Ranger Uniform” capsule, blending timeless design with functional utility. Made in the USA, the collection draws inspiration from vintage American workwear, reflecting both brands’ shared ethos. The PEG Uniform Jacket features an array of zipper and snap placket pockets, monochromatic hardware and subtle reflective details, offering a modern, technical edge. Complementing the jacket, the matching trousers incorporate patch, coin and side pockets, with adjustable drawstrings at the waistband and ankle cuffs for a customizable fit. Finished with understated cobranded PEG patches, the collection stays true to the refined essence of classic uniforms. The capsule is now available via the official BEAMS web store and select retailers.

Kenzo Lunar New Year Collection

Kenzo celebrates Lunar New Year 2025 with a regal collection led by Nigo, blending traditional symbolism with the brand’s iconic motifs. Anchored in red, gold and black fabrics, the range features apparel and accessories for both men and women, including T-shirts, knitwear, sweatshirts, joggers, jewelry and scarves. Standout pieces include an embroidered sweatshirt depicting an entwined tiger and snake framed by “Kenzo Paris” in golden threads and a duo-tone cardigan featuring a snake shaped like the signature Boke flower. Golden snake-shaped charms adorn the jewelry, while minimalist black and red basics feature golden Boke patches and tonal embroidered logos. The collection captures Lunar New Year’s festive spirit and is now available on Kenzo’s web store and select boutiques.

Hollywood Ranch Market x Yohji Yamamoto’s Wildside Capsule

Hollywood Ranch Market teams up with Yohji Yamamoto’s Wildside sub-label for a stealthy five-piece capsule inspired by French workwear with Chinese influences. Anchored in an all-black palette, the collection features a classic French work jacket with Chinese knot-style buttons, a rounded collar, snap button cuffs and vertical stitching. Matching trousers, crafted from Yamamoto’s TC cotton twill, can be transformed into shorts with detachable lower legs. The lineup also includes two bags – a compact phone sling and a larger book tote with subtle black-on-black graphics – and a long-sleeve T-shirt made from Seilin & Co’s Stretch Fraise fabric. Pre-orders are open until January 9, with the full release set for January 15 via both brands’ web stores and select flagship locations in Tokyo, Osaka and Harajuku.

thisisneverthat x Gramicci Capsule

thisisneverthat kicks off 2025 with a collaborative capsule alongside Japan’s Gramicci, blending technical performance with urban streetwear sensibilities. The collection features a range of outerwear, pants, fleece vests and graphic pieces, balancing trail-ready utility with downtown style. Standout items include a weatherproof zip-up jacket with an adjustable hood and ample pocket space, offered in off-white and lime green and a zip-up fleece vest adorned with an all-over green, black and purple pattern. Dominated by earthy tones and functional designs, the capsule is set to drop on Thursday, January 9, at 8 p.m. EST via thisisneverthat’s official website, with full regional availability details to follow.
