Hollywood Ranch Market and Yohji Yamamoto's Wildside Release Stealth Workwear Capsule
Inspired by French workwear, the 5-piece capsule comes in all-black with subtle technical design details.
Japanese label Hollywood Ranch Market has collaborated with Yohji Yamamoto‘s Wildside sub-label for a new capsule inspired by the codes of French workwear and its Chinese influences.
A classic French work jacket with Chinese knot-style buttons leads the collection in a blend of traditional and streetwear sensibilities. Other details include a rounded collar, snap button cuffs, double waist pockets, and a widened placket with vertical stitching. Yamamoto’s TC cotton twill fabric makes up the garment and its matching trousers, which can be transformed into shorts by detaching the bottom halves of the legs.
The matching set is joined by two bags: one phone sling, small enough to fit a personal cell and small items; and a larger book tote bag printed with a black-on-black graphic. Finally, a long-sleeve t-shirt made of Stretch Fraise, Seilin & Co’s in-house fabric rounds out the collection.
Until January 9, customers can pre-order their selections online. Hollywood Ranch Market x Wildside by Yohji Yamamoto is set for full release via both brand’s web stores on January 15 global, and in-store at Hollywood Ranch Market Tokyo and Wildside Yohji Yamamoto Osaka and Harajuku.
