TELFAR Unveils First Genuine Leather Bag “The Carry”
Debuting exclusive in-person at London’s Selfridges.
TELFAR has launched its first-ever real leather bag. After building the brand on its distinct vegan leather totes, the brand has unveiled the “The Carry.”
Constructed out of soft, full-grain pebble leather, the bag features a similar silhouette to its flagship tote with a few amendments. The tote has been made deeper, while the snaps are covered in fine leather. Its hand straps have been lengthened, so one can carry “The Carry” on their shoulder.
The brand also said it consciously kept hardware to a minimum, while the interior of the bag is purposefully left unlined.
TELFAR described the bag as its answer to “traditional luxury,” blending both masculine and feminine design qualities to defy categorization such as a men’s bag or a handbag. It’s also pricer than its vegan counterpart.
While these prices are more than four times our traditional range — they are ten times lower than comparable bags — and we invite any comparison. The small is priced at £470 GBP, the medium at £710 GBP and the large at £1145 GBP.

Beginning September 30, “The Carry” will be exclusive available at TELFAR’S new concept space at The Corner Shop at Selfridges. TELFAR is also working on a collaborative collection of leather apparel with Wilson’s.
