Cate Blanchett Plays a Famed Journalist With a Secret in Apple TV’s ‘Disclaimer’

The trailer is out for Apple TV’s original series Disclaimer. Cate Blanchett stars in the drama, portraying journalist and documentarian Catherine Ravenscroft.
While Ravenscroft herself is famed for her investigative work, she is revealed to be harboring a dark secret dating back to her teenage years as a man named Stephen Brigstocke (Kevin Kline) begins sending the journalist threatening letters.
In the trailer, Ravenscroft unravels as she seeks to cover up the secret that has resurfaced in her adulthood.
Sacha Baron Cohen stars as Catherine’s husband Robert, while Kodi Smit-McPhee plays Nicholas, the couple’s drug-addled son. Rounding out the main cast are Louis Partridge, Lesley Manville and HoYeon Jung.
