Charli XCX Brings Out Lorde At NYC's 'SWEAT' Tour Stop
With Addison Rae showing out just minutes prior.
We’re just a few shows into the SWEAT Tour and Charli XCX and Troye Sivan are already pulling out all of the stops for the sold-out run. Last night’s New York City show at Madison Square Garden was a true pop-star family affair, with the dynamic duo bringing out none other than Lorde for “Girl, so confusing featuring lorde.”
The high-energy performance signaled the live debut of the BRAT remix track, with fans going crazy as Lorde strutted out on stage – donning the same fur coat as Charli – as her verse began. Watch the performance below.
Right before Lorde popped out – literally, minutes prior – Charli brought out close friend and collaborator Addison Rae, who kicked it off with a performance of her hit single “Diet Pepsi” with Charli and Troye coming out at the end for the closing chorus. Charli and Addison then shut it down with a performance of the “Von dutch a.g. cook remix featuring addison rae” – Addison’s high-pitch screech included.
SWEAT continues to take the U.S. by storm, with imminent stops in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Boston and Chicago.
