Update: One of many rumors being discussed last year involved the return of the Air Jordan 12 “French Blue” in 2025. After many months of waiting, we now have a first look at what to expect from the re-release. As expected, its signature blue hue hits the outsole and pebbled leather mudguard while white adorns a majority of the upper. “Metallic Silver” accents are joined by “Varsity Red” detailing at the heel branding to complete this initial look. Release is now set to take place on August 16 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $200 USD.

Original Story: Looking ahead to 2025, there are plenty of exciting rumors surrounding Jordan Brand and its key models like the Air Jordan 1 and Air Jordan 4. On top of this, other silhouettes like the Air Jordan 12 have steadily established a solid rotation of looks to anticipate. On top of the “Flu Game” design dropping again next year, the “Taxi” pair is set to return alongside 2004’s “Melo” colorway.

Now, a new rumor from zSneakerHeadz has described a “French Blue 2.0” look that is being prepared for next year. Building off of 2004’s “French Blue” iteration that was last revisited in 2016, this new rendition of the Air Jordan 12 is expected to combine the white and blue finish with a hint of red detailing at the midfoot.

At the time of writing, Jordan Brand has not indicated that a new “French Blue 2.0” colorway will be releasing. Stay tuned for updates, including a first look at the pair, as we currently expect it to release during the fall of 2025 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a starting price of $200 USD.
