Sneaker loafers are running rampant in the footwear scene this year. New Balance was the first of many brands to introduce its take on the mash-up last year and this momentum has carried over into 2025 thanks to HOKA and other labels. For HOKA, it dropped the Speed Loafer at the end of January, which flew off of shelves in its lead all-black colorway and later earned a spot in our round-up of the 10 new lifestyle sneakers defining 2025.
As fall creeps into view, HOKA has prepared the Speed Loafer with two new seasonal colorways: “Birch” and “Walnut.” The former begins with its Vibram Megagrip outsole and Speedgoat 5 tooling in black, matching the suede mudguard. From there, its off-white hue adorns the speed tassel-equipped loafer upper. As for its “Walnut” counterpart, its sticks to brown throughout its matching build, combining with purple at the lining and tassel.
For those looking to shop these two new colorways of the HOKA Speed Loafer, both the “Birch” and “Walnut” pairs are expected to drop on August 8 via HOKA and select retailers at a starting price of $185 USD.
