When Ski Mask The Slump God dropped “Catch Me Outside 2” last month, the rapper took us all back in time, transporting us back to 2017 when the track’s predecessor first surfaced. Ski is back in his nostalgia bag, but this time, he is throwing it back even further, tapping back into his SoundCloud Era prime and, at last, moving almost all of his classic cuts over to streaming services.
In a 29-track package properly named The Lost Files, Ski serves up all of the songs we’d open SoundCloud solely to bump – starting off strong with “Life is Short” as the opening act.
Of course, all of his close friends and collaborator XXXTentacion‘s features land on the tracklist, including “IWATCHEDHIMDROWN” at track two, “Broly” at track seven, and “Fatality” at track fourteen. Those three tracks alone have culminated in double-digit millions of streams on SoundCloud and are already running up numbers on DSPs as we speak.
Other high points of the album include fan-favorites “Alien Sex,” “Nationwide,” the “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy”-sampling “SLMD Remix” and “Rickybobby!”
Lil Pump appears on another infamous offering, “Where’s the Blow!” with Denzel Curry and Craig Xen on “Unmask” and Pollari on “Sh*t Talk.”
