Swooshes Strike the Air Jordan 40 "Chris Paul" PE

We’re only weeks removed from the debut of the Air Jordan 40 and Jordan Brand is back with yet another colorway reveal. Unlike the recent “Dusty Rose” and “Blue Suede” preview, this pair serves as a player exclusive, celebrating veteran guard Chris Paul.

While Paul prepares for his return to the Los Angeles Clippers for his 21st season in the NBA, he’s hosted his annual Chris Paul Elite Camp in Las Vegas. Last year he gave participants an exclusive Air Jordan 39 “Chris Paul” PE and this year he’s done the same with the Air Jordan 40. This special version of the shoe appears in pink with a large floral Swoosh placed at the lateral. His “CP3” logo hits the left shoe’s tongue to complete the colorway.

Given the shoe’s designation as a player exclusive, this Air Jordan 40 “Chris Paul” is not expected to ever land on retail shelves. However, if there’s one thing that’s become apparent in recent years, no shoe in Nike’s archive is untouchable, so stay tuned for any updates.
