Coach Prime and the University of Colorado are gearing up for their second season together as the school is set to rejoin the Big 12, having left it in 2011 to join the nearly-dissolved Pac-12. The Buffaloes will begin their season as an unranked team taking on the North Dakota State Bison, which should serve as one of Colorado’s easier matchups this year.
Just a few days after the game, Nike and Deion Sanders are set to revisit the Air DT Max ‘96 in “Colorado Home” and “Colorado Away” colorways. Both looks match the team’s respective uniforms as the “Home” iteration leans on black and gold throughout its build and the “Away” version sees white paired with gold across the sneaker. Key elements such as the midfoot strap, “Diamond Turf” sockliner graphic and the layered upper all make a return as the shoe first landed on shelves again this year back in June.
At the time of writing, Nike has not officially announced when these “Colorado Home” and “Colorado Away” colorways of Deion Sanders’ Air DT Max ‘96 will be releasing. Stay tuned for updates, including the reveal of additional pairs, as we currently expect both looks to drop on September 2 via Nike SNKRS and select retailers at a price of $170 USD each.
