JPEGMAFIA has dropped off the first official visual from his recent LP I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU. Surfacing for the project’s standout song “JPEGULTRA!” featuring Denzel Curry, the cut’s accompanying visual component takes the high-octane energy introduced in the track’s soundscape to a whole new level.
Directed by Curry himself, shot by Gabriel Ocasio, Milo Lee and Riley Kasso and edited by Cameron Gunn, the visual compiles a collection of gritty, grainy black-and-white footage of the two rappers delivering the lyrics with their crew.
“Out the trenches for you flabbergasted, fat f*cks / It’s your boy Denzel Curry in this b*tch / And I’m chillin’ with my n*gga Peggy / You already know what time it is, we goin’ around the world with it / And inside your girl with it, you feel me?” Curry opens before the beat begins to build and he takes over the first verse.
