Nike’s Air Force 1 Low sneakers have received several “Oil Green” makeovers in the past, ranging from tonal iterations to Safari editions. While the sight of AF1 Low sporting an entire upper doused in the calming hue is nothing new, the newly unveiled variant may be the first to feature a glossy finish.
Boasting a patent-leather upper, the shoe is dipped in a smooth “Oil Green” from sockliner, tongue, lace guard to shoelaces. The titular hue extends all the to the midsole, while the outsole comes in a slightly translucent “Safety Orange.” Creating a striking contrast, the blazing orange color is also implemented onto Swooshes, heel counters as well as the inside of the shoes.
