pet-tree-kor Joins Forces with NAMESAKE for Fall-Ready Collection
Crafted using an “organic combination” design approach.
pet-tree-kor, an emerging label from Shanghai is partnering up with Taiwanese brand NAMESAKE to release a collaborative capsule collection.
Centering on an “organic combination” approach, the pieces are conceptualized through the exchange of both brands’ design philosophies and DNA. Each garment is a reimagining of the other brand’s quintessential signatures, which is then infused and reinterpreted with the collaborating brand’s unique vision and perspective.
As a result, NAMESAKE’s athletic aesthetics are blended with pet-tree-kor’s penchant for nature, making every look a perfect amalgamation of the two in the most organic way possible. Rendered in a dark and understated palette comprising mostly of black, white and a spectrum of gray tones, the lineup also features the occasional earthy brown and mystical blue hue. Meanwhile, fabrications range from smooth and stealthy to subtly patterned textures.
The pet-tree-kor x NAMESAKE capsule collection will be unveiled in Shanghai on August 17 and will be available at a two-day pop-up. Shortly after, it will also be available at NAMESAKE’s Taipei showroom from August 23 – 25.
