Merrell Teams up With Janji for Trail Running Capsule Collaboration
Featuring an original print by Mongolian artist, Gawaa.
American sportswear brand Janji has tapped Merrell for a capsule collection that combines their passion for performance-driven offerings. The range spotlights a special edition Agility Peak 5 sneaker, alongside trail-running-ready apparel and accessories, all sporting an original print by Mongolian artist, Gawaa.
The highlight of the collection is a colorful reimagining of Merrell’s best-selling Agility Peak 5 technical trail running shoe. Designed for long-distance running, the shoe is equipped with FLEXconnect® and FloatProTM Foam midsoles that provide flex and long-lasting underfoot comfort. Retailing for $250 USD, the shoe is complete with Vibram’s Megagrip traction lug outsole for a sturdy grip across uneven terrains as well as a breathable upper.
On the apparel front, the lineup consists of a super lightweight and packable Zephyrunner Wind Shell jacket, fast-drying tank tops and tees as well as ultralight performance running shorts. The collection rounds out with the AFO Hyperlight Cap and the Multipass Mini Pack, a technical bag geared with three zipper compartments and a 1-liter capacity,
Prices range from $38 – $150 USD, the collection is now available for purchase via REI as well as Janji‘s and Merrell’s websites. 2% of the product’s proceeds will be donated to support the Global Water Partnership.
