Jordan Brand is celebrating its 40th anniversary of Air Jordan 8 next year, by bringing back the classic “Bugs Bunny” colorway to the silhouette next year, according to a new report from zSneakerHeadz, Sneaker Files and Sneaker Market RO. The original “Bugs Bunny” first dropped in 1993 and was worn by Michael Jordan himself on the court. The first retro release arrived in 2003, becoming the first time since the ’90s that fans could have a chance to acquire the shoe. Later, it was re-released in 2013, and now it appears that a new iteration will be arriving in Fall 2025. The shoe earned its nickname from the Looney Tunes character, which famously appeared alongside Michael Jordan in the “Hare Jordan” campaign. Featuring a white leather upper and bold red and black accents as well as the signature midfoot straps, the shoe’s chenille tongue patch adds to the distinctive look of the shoe. Look out for the official release of the shoe arriving next year.
