Stefon Diggs Celebrated His Friends-and-Family ASICS Collab At An Intimate Event
Held in New York City, the event celebrated a partnership Diggs has said was a “lifetime in the making.”
All-Pro Houston Texans wide receiver Stefon Diggs marches to the beat of his own drum — and his budding partnership with ASICS is a reflection of that. “Off the field, I see fashion and style as ways in which I can engage my mind,” he told Hypebeast last July, shortly after the partnership was first announced. “[ASICS'] willingness to collaborate with me and embrace my creative freedom makes me incredibly excited for our future together.”
Just over a year to the day since that conversation, Diggs and ASICS threw an intimate party in New York City to celebrate Diggs’ first official collaboration with the brand — his friends and family-only GEL-Nimbus 10.1, nicknamed “From: Me To: You.”
Diggs arrived at the event in a Ferrari, joyously leaping over the driver’s-side door (without so much as a scuff on his ASICS) before making his way into the party alongside his brother Trevon — himself an All-Pro cornerback with the Dallas Cowboys — who also starred alongside his brother in one of Stefon’s earliest ASICS campaigns.
His collaboration was front-and-center through the evening as the guests mingled, enjoying conversation and free drinks, celebrating a partnership that Diggs has said in the past was a “lifetime in the making.”
