ASICS running shoes started using segmented midsole designs with industrial-like aesthetics. The tooling system for this sneaker retains this signature structure, featuring dual-layer EVA foam, rearfoot and forefoot GEL technology inserts, and a TRUSSTIC support unit. These elements help create a combination of cushioning and stability for better comfort in everyday scenarios.

Along with the GEL technology, ASICS preserves several other trademark details from the original, including the asymmetric paneling and neutral colorway. Additionally, the open mesh construction from the model’s original design returns on the upper. The tooling system for this sneaker retains the original structure, featuring a dual-layer EVA foam and a TRUSSTIC support unit. These design components come together to create a sneaker rooted in support and stability, ensuring everyday comfort.
The new sneaker appears in three different colorways: Pure Silver, Directoire Blue, and Ocean Haze, also alluding to the early design inspirations based on exploration and nature. The ASICS SportStyle GEL-NIMBUS 10.1 launches globally on June 28 and will be available in stores and online for $160 USD.
