After stating he’d go live on Instagram last night in a message on X, Big Sean followed through, hopping on his livestream to preview some new music – including the unreleased “Fighting Fires,” produced by Ye.

“When I linked with Ty, he told me they might be using this sh*t for VULTURES II, so I don’t know … but I’ll let you all hear this,” he shared as the roughly four-minute track begins to play.

“We in this b*tch, back focused, right / F*ck that overnight success, I want it over life / I’m overseeing what I’m seeing, f*ck a oversight / From the other side of the screen like a poltergeist / I’m in this b*tch dropping gems like I’m off the ice / They had to name they son Sean cause the boy that bright, right,” Sean Don spits on the opening of “Fighting Fires.”

Instagram Live seems to be the rapper’s platform of choice to preview his new music, also teasing a collaboration with The Alchemist over the weekend.

Check out the clip of “Fighting Fires,” which arrives shortly thereafter the rapper’s feature on Eminem‘s The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) cut “Tobey” – Stay tuned to Hypebeast for more updates on Big Sean’s new music.
