While still a few months out from In Waves‘ release – scheduled to drop on September 20 – Jamie xx is shifting focus to readying his next run of shows. After soft-launching The Floor concept overseas a few months back, the DJ is bringing the residency to the U.S., presenting The Floor residencies in New York City and Los Angeles this summer.

Locations have yet to be revealed, but dates are confirmed; Jamie xx will head to Brooklyn – Bushwick, to be exact – from July 23 through July 27, before heading out to Downtown LA from July 30 through August 3, making for five consecutive shows in each city.

“It’s already been two months since The Floor. It was a mad and inspiring experience. I got to open my dream club, play 10 nights in a row with friends and collaborators, and create a space inspired by my own experiences in London’s underground club scene,” Jamie said in a statement.

“As with The Floor in London, each venue and lineup will be specially curated to represent the best in the local scene and my love for both these cities. They will be in Bushwick and DTLA, and the exact location will be revealed to ticket holders only.”
