Another Nike sneaker has surfaced in the “Racer Blue” colorway. In the past, Nike has featured “Racer Blue” accents to a metallic silver Shox R4 sneaker. But this time, the bold and vibrant makeover takes over the entire silhouette, dressing the upper, quarter, shoelace to outsoles in the intense blue hue.
Exuding a futuristic look, the upper comes in the model’s signature synthetic fabrication with the usual ripple-like textured sides, complete with perforated panels. The outsoles continue to be equipped with Nike’s Shox technology and Phylon forefoot midsole. The Swoosh logo appears in a silver-gray embroidery, echoing tonal accents that are implemented throughout the shoe.
The “Racer Blue” Nike Shox R4 comes after the release of the “Barely Grape,” “White and Metallic Silver” and “Black” variants — marking a revival for the silhouette following the hype that was fueled by a collaboration with British designer Martine Rose.
